Here is the other shoot I did using the fairy tale Snow White in this one I used myself as the model and dressed all in black as the witch who gave Snow White the apple in the fairy tale. What I did was run round through the trees in the woods and had my camera on a aperture of F18 and a slow shutter speed on 0.3. So that when the image was captured there was a blur effect. By doing this it adds more to the image and show the movement in the witch running round the woods spying on Snow White. Here are the images which I have taken:
I then re did my shoot because in these ones above there isn't really much movement in the images so I went out again, and did the shoot when it was a little darker to get more movement in the images. Also creating a more suspicious and dramatic vibe in the images.
Although there isn't much movement in this image I still think it is very effective because of how the coat falls. It fits extremely well with the fairy tale Snow White and looks as if it is a witch running through the woods.
By doing the shoot again I got a lot more movement which has made the images look a lot more effective. Also by it being dim and less light outside it makes the whole atmosphere of the images more mystical and creepy. In my opinion the re takes of this shoot are defiantly more suited to my theme and more of what suits with the fairy tale Snow White. They give more of a freaky and intense feeling which links more to the story. The images are a lot darker and you are able to see the blur in the images because of the movement a lot more which in my opinion makes the images look better from the first shoot in which I did.
